SMART control panel is divided into the first generation product SMARTLINE and the second generation product SMARTLINE. The first generation product has no Ethernet port, including Smart700 and Smart1000; The second generation of products integrates Ethernet ports, including Smart700IE and Smart1000IE. Now the second generation of SMARTLINEIE series products are on sale. The first generation of products has already been shut down.

SmartLineIE has main advantages over the first generation of SmartLine:

The 64K true color shows that it is several times higher than the first generation of 256 colors.

Enhanced industrial production Ethernet socket (suitable for self-cross function). According to this Ethernet port, S7-200SMART and LOGO can be connected! 0BA7 equipment, and several control boards (more than 3) can be connected at the same time.

Expands the effectiveness of serial communication.

Number of connections

The S7-200SMARTCPU can not only connect the Siemens system HMI equipment applicable to the PPI contract according to its own integrated RS485 port number or signal board, but also connect the Siemens system HMI equipment applicable to the S7 contract through its own integrated Ethernet port.

When the three physical interfaces of the CPU are connected to the HMI equipment of the Siemens system at the same time (including the signal board), the maximum number of connected network resources is 16.

SmartPanels can only connect one device according to serial communication, and can connect three devices according to Ethernet, but serial communication and Ethernet cannot be used together (the compiler is not qualified).

Note: The serial port communication and Ethernet port must use one, or the compiler will fail.
